is launching the calligram competition “Ukrainian Identity – European Dimension”
Purpose of the competition:
Participants must write and illustrate a text / poem in an original way, introducing the following words:
Ukraine, peace, prosperity, future, dignity, openness, nation,
Europe, freedom, resistance, courage, glory.
Audience: The competition is open to high school students and higher education students.
Period: February 20 – March 15, 2024
Format: Scanned PDF for calligrams (and the text of the calligram in Word version).
Prize: The authors of the top 10 productions will be awarded special prizes.
Announcement of winners: March 20, 2024 (by email and APFU Facebook publication).
Terms: A student can submit only one production.

A calligram is a poem whose graphical layout on the page forms a drawing, usually related to the subject of the text, but sometimes the form brings a meaning that opposes the text. This allows combining visual imagination with that conveyed by words.
